Shortcuts App that I Use on My Mac

A couple months ago, I just upgraded to macOS Monterey and just know that shortcut can used on mac. I know it’s pretty late, I usually use that on my iPhone.
As we know, Shortcuts app is really helpful, I just use it for couple weeks but just amaze with the capability of this app. I will try to deep dive on this app in the future, but in this article I will show you some of “shortucts” that I use in Shortcuts app.
Some of the shortcuts that I use:
Start My Work Set Up
It’s the shortcut that I use to automate the apps that I usually open when I start work. You can add specific name, maybe your Flutter set up or Svelte set up, etc.

As example, when I’m writing code in Go, I will have my docker running, google chrome, GoLand, GitHub Desktop, Visual Studio Code, Insomnia, Spotify for music, and Slack for work. Technically it’s my work set up, but I just prefer to name it as Go, because it’s Go related.
Close My Work Set Up
It’s the shortcut which the opposite of the first one. It will close multiple apps that’s related to Go, such as Docker, Visual Studio Code, GoLand, GitHub Desktop, Insomnia, and Slack.

Actually, it’s pretty simple to do it by ourself, just quick moving apps and Cmd+Q to close it, not really take long time too. But, why we don’t use quick shortcut to “cut” those redundant “task” and make our life even easier.
Start My Next Meeting
It’s the shortcut that will make you no longer require to open the calendar app, looking for the link to join the meeting, click the link or copy paste to the browser. It will cut those pain process.

I didn’t make it my own, I found it in the “Gallery” section on Shortcuts app, just search “Start My Next Meeting” and you will find it.
By default, it will detect your available meetings within range 30 minutes before and the next 30 minutes. It will just directly check your calendar and open the browser for you with the available link that provided there.
Those all three shortcuts that I use daily as I’m writing this article, if you found any cool “shortcuts” within Shortcuts app, please let me know
